Homeplace Plantation House Hahnville, Louisiana, USA
Erected 1787-1791, this is an excellent example of a large French Colonial, two-story, raised cottage. The first-story walls are brick, while the second-story walls "bousillage," made of cypress timbers infilled with a clay and Spanish moss mixture.
